The data collected over the years shows that separating the “size reduction” phase from the "refining" phase serves to improve overall production efficiency. In fact, by assigning these different phases to 2 separate facilities, we obtain a drastic reduction of downtime for maintenance and routine overhaul as well as reduced energy consumption (the energy used when employing 2 separate facilities is less than that needed to run one facility).
