WD 280/20
The WD 280/20 THOR is designed for heavy load jobs with resistant materials such as scrap metal or material in high density pressed bales.
The cutting components have generous dimensions and are made of very hard wearing materials.
The shredder is provided with two shafts with independent transmission groups in order to reduce the number of revolutions to 3-4 rpm.
The machine is equipped with hydraulic group power transmission (2 reducers per shaft) started by either diesel or electric motors.
The structure of the cutting chamber has been designed for straightforward and quick maintenance of the components subject to wear (blades, spacers, and counter blade).
The engine block and feed hopper can be customised for different loading and unloading solutions depending on the particular material.
A variety of blade configurations are available for working with different materials including scrap metal from general collection, the remains of cars (without motors and drive shafts), and many others.
The shredder has been designed with a smaller volume, and rough shapes the material for successive recycling/value adding processes
The control panel is equipped with PLC so that in addition to the machine it can manage the following:
(a) integration with other machinery,
(b) the emergency circuit and
(c) the safeguard system for the mechanical parts based on controlling the energy absorbed (automatic inversion)..
